Espacios urbanos, ventanas y balcones y su función dramática en algunas obras de Antonio Buero Vallejo
Abstract
This article explores the dialectical scenic and theatrical space, which is underlined by two strategic devices used by Antonio Buero Vallejo: first, the often conflictive relation between macrocosmos and micro-cosmos, and second, the visualization of this dichotomy between closed and open space, between confinement and freedom, through the motive of the window, the balcony and the terrace, which are essential dramatic and scenic elements in the configuration of the urban dramatic space.
