Gabriel Miró en 1914. Sus colaboraciones en La Vanguardia
Abstract
The literary work of Gabriel Miró is presented not as a series of texts that rely on the inspiration of the moment, but rather as a developing organism, as an aesthetic product, a process related to the vital evolution of the writer. The year 1914 supposed a key moment in this evolution due to the fact that his residence was moved to Barcelona. The evolutionary process can be perceived in the written chronicles for the newspaper La Vanguardia, where we find, along with texts that still correspond to an earlier stage, the initiation of new aesthetic orientations in which the essay element predominates. Greater emphasis is given to an ethical reflection that is inseparable from its primarily aesthetic condition. All this is expressed immediately thanks to his iconic character: Sigüenza.Downloads
