SIGNO, GESTO Y LETRA. EL TRAZO EN LA OBRA DE MILLARES
Abstract
Manuel Millares (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 1926-Madrid 1972) es uno de los artistas españoles que protagonizaron la renovación del panorama artístico en España durante el franquismo, propiciando la aproximación a las tendencias de vanguardia intemacionales. Su obra profundiza en las posibilidades del gesto, la letra y el signo. generando una particular lenguaje en continua renovación. Cuando se cumplcn 30 años de su prematura desaparición se propone una revisión dc estos aspectos, que hicieron del artista canario uno de los máximos exponentes del informalismo español y europeo.Downloads
