Abstract

This paper suggests that the construction of objectivity in polítical action is produced through permanent negotiations. Regarding science policy, this seems to have been indeed the case, as it is suggest by the brief historical account of a set of dates and events from the posi-WWII onwards presented in this essay. Those events. closely interlinked, may contribute, at least in part, to an understanding of the processes of negotiations between scientists and both national and foreign policies, negotiations that brought about the basis upon which policy-making towards the promotion of experimental research took place. Bolh science policy-making and knowledge expertise led to further knowledge, policies, and expertise politically influential.
