Abstract

Both the Jesus of Nietzsche and his symbol of the Crucified God are relevant objects of study for the scholar who seeks to unveil Friedrich Nietzsche's thought, since both images play an outstanding role in Nietzsche's philosophy. In this introductory paper i intend to analyse the relationship that exists between Nietzsche's Jesus and his dualism Dionisos / The Crucified God. Our thesis is that we cannot identify Jesus with Dionisos or with The Curcified God.
