Abstract

The object of this paper is to show that apart from the influence that Weininger’s book, Sex and Character, had over the Wittgenstenian conception of character, genius, talent, culture, civilization, etc., –as his aphorisms about culture and value reflect–, both authors shared the same point of view about the questions that Wittgenstein considered most important: the conception of logic, ethics and also of the self.
