Abstract

In this work we have analyzed the differences in the sport participating motivation of the university students of Murcia, Valencia and Almería, regarding their practice level. For that, 801 students with a 21 year-old average responded to the Questionnaire of attitudes, motivations and interests concerning physical activities (CAMIAF). After the analysis of the data it is evidenced that expert students will center their interest in competition, personal capability and the search of hedonism and social relationships. In students of advanced level adventure is the main reason for the practice, while the beginners pointed out all those reasons linked to physical form and personal image.
