Abstract

In this paper a review is done about the definitions and concepts of catastrophes as agents that cause psychological trauma. Also, the different degrees of implication for a victim will be identified. Then, we will appeal to a nosographic revision in order to distinguish the post-traumatic effects which can be explicated by these extreme situations.
