STUDENT' CYBERCULTURE IN ACADEMIC COMMUNITIES OF MEXICAN PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES.

Abstract
Presents the results of a descriptive research with diagnostic characteristics about the measurement of cyberculture levels in two student communities of higher education institutions, public, established in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico (Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua and the National School of Anthropology and History, in Chihuahua). Throughout the use of a non experimental methodology, transactional-descriptive and observatory type evaluates five dimensions or conceptual categories: 1) approach, 2) usage and 3) technological and social appropriation of the communication and information technologies, 4) empowerment and 5) social innovation and human development. Concludes by identifying a set of heterogeneous features on the behavior of the student cyberculture and adds a number of advices regarding the potential to be developed in the analysis of a larger scope of student communities.
