Utilidad, interacción e impacto: visualizando un asistente docente para el aula inteligente

Resumen

La inteligencia artificial (IA) está adquiriendo un papel cada vez más relevante en diversos contextos. En el ámbito educativo puede ser crucial para mejorar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, debido a la capacidad de procesar grandes volúmenes de datos con información a tiempo real de las actividades de la clase, del alumnado y del profesorado, provenientes de recursos en línea y dispositivos IoT (Internet de las cosas). Las aulas con IA facilitan la automatización de tareas docentes y promueven enfoques de enseñanza más personalizados. Un Asistente Docente en un Aula Inteligente es una herramienta que permite al profesorado interactuar con el aula inteligente. En este estudio se elabora y analiza el diseño de un Asistente Docente para Aulas Inteligentes desde la perspectiva de la experiencia de usuario, mediante un Focus Group a docentes actuales y un cuestionario a futuros docentes, recopilando y evaluando sus opiniones y preferencias respecto a su interacción y el uso con el Asistente. Aunque los mecanismos de interacción que ofrece la tecnología disponible son variados, los profesores entrevistados optan por interacciones e información que no interrumpan la actividad de enseñanza y aprendizaje.

Antoni Martínez-Ballesté, Universitat Rovira i Virgili

Antoni Martínez-Ballesté is an associate professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and Mathematics of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) since 2003. PhD from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Telematic Engineering, 2004). Postgraduate specialist in the European Higher Education Area (URV Foundation, 2006). Member of the IEEE. Consultant teacher at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) since 2004. Senior researcher in the Smart Technologies research group (formerly Smart Health, URV) since 2014. Research interests on the application of information and communication technologies in healthcare and quality of life (smart health) and education (smart classrooms), studying from technical aspects (Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, information security) to ethics and privacy.

Ramon Palau is a researcher in ARGET, Applied Research Group Education Technology from Rovira and Virgili University in Tarragona (URV), Catalonia, Spain. Associate professor in the Department of Pedagogy at URV. He is working in the smart classroom concept, smart learning environments, teacher digital skills, flipped classroom and artificial intelligence for education.
