Set of research data
RiiTE. Revista Interuniversitaria de Investigación en Tecnología Educativa is committed to the principles of Open Science and actively promotes the deposit, publication, and reuse of research datasets generated during scientific investigations. This commitment aligns with international policies and institutional mandates that recognize the value of data as a scientific output and its importance for ensuring transparency, reproducibility, and the advancement of knowledge.
Authors are encouraged to deposit their research data in reputable repositories—either subject-specific or generalist—that comply with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). These repositories should preferably provide open access to the datasets, enabling consultation, download, and reuse without restrictions.
RiiTE offers a dedicated space within the institutional repository DIGITUM of the University of Murcia for the storage and dissemination of datasets associated with the articles published in the journal. Authors are requested to provide the relevant datasets to the editorial team for deposit prior to the article’s publication. This does not prevent or limit the additional deposit of these datasets in other suitable repositories.
To support this process, the University of Murcia Library provides a practical guide for preparing and publishing research datasets, which authors should follow when submitting their data files along with the manuscript for editorial evaluation.
Through this policy, RiiTE reaffirms its commitment to promoting a more open, transparent, and collaborative science, for the benefit of the research community and society at large.
