Percepción de docentes, investigadores educativos y tecnólogos sobre alcance, posibilidades de uso y aplicabilidad del metaverso inclusivo: un estudio cualitativo

Abstract
La innovación y adaptación a los nuevos requerimientos de la sociedad ha sido uno de los principios vertebradores del sistema educativo. En esta línea, una de las novedades tecnológicas que más auge ha experimentado en los últimos años ha sido el metaverso, un mundo virtual que permite una experiencia inmersiva. Debido a su reciente aparición, las posibilidades del metaverso en la educación como herramienta inclusiva aún se encuentran en proceso de exploración. El presente estudio cualitativo visibiliza y analiza las percepciones que tienen diferentes agentes relacionados con la educación y la tecnología (maestros, profesores, tecnólogos e investigadores universitarios) sobre las características, la aplicabilidad y la potencialidad del uso del metaverso como una herramienta educativa e inclusiva para la diversidad del alumnado. En el análisis se desarrolla la codificación y la categorización del contenido temático a través del programa Nvivo. Los resultados se estructuran en función de cuatro dimensiones: 1. Acceso a recursos; 2. Uso educativo; 3. Carácter inclusivo; 4. Factores contextuales. En conclusión, todos los participantes valoran positivamente el uso educativo del metaverso y la capacidad de dar respuesta a determinadas necesidades educativas especiales. Sin embargo, también señalan la necesidad de una mayor inversión en recursos y formación docente específica para su implementación.
