Abstract

Any research project must always begin with a literature review phase that helps us analyse the state of the art and also helps us to clearly define the problem and the objectives of the research. It is therefore important for junior researchers to search and review scientific journals specialised in the specific field of their research, many of which are open access and easily located. In the case of Educational Technology as a scientific field of specialisation, this article highlights the conceptual nuances that differentiate it from "ICT". While ICTs are technologies of general use, Educational Technology is a field of specialisation, research and scientific knowledge.
