David Wiley es Director Académico de Lumen Learning, una organización que se dedica a la renovación pedagógica a través de la promoción de los recursos educativos abiertos. Además, es miembro de Creative Commons y académico en la Brigham Young University, donde dirige el Grupo de Educación Abierta.
Su trayectoria profesional ha estado ligada al movimiento de los recursos abiertos y a la contribución social de la ciencia desde la educación. Es un gran placer poder contar con su participación en este primer número de nuestra Revista.
