Abstract

This paper deals with research in writing competencies, expressed by different samples of universitystudents. These competences activate universal processes of writing development, such as, procedural-declarative, conditional, affective and socio-cultural processes. The innovation provided by this paper consists of describe the writing competences in a practical manner for the teachers initial formation. Another new factor included in the paper is the study of writing competences at different university levels. A multimethod methodology was applied during the whole process. Finally this research provides a base for the design and implementation of teaching of writing competences.
