Un nuevo modelo de aprendizaje: el ABP-IA

Resumen

Este artículo recoge el resultado de una investigación donde se presenta un nuevo modelo de
aprendizaje: el ABP-IA. Este nuevo modelo mejora el rendimiento académico, la
individualización y la personalización del aprendizaje, así como también la autoevaluación al
combinar el aprendizaje basado en proyectos (ABP) junto a la inteligencia artificial (IA). A raíz
de una investigación cuasi-experimental se han comparado los resultados de dos grupos
diferenciados: un primer grupo experimentó el modelo ABP-IA y un segundo grupo siguió el
modelo tradicional de ABP. Los resultados tras la puesta en marcha de ambos modelos
indicaron diferencias significativas en beneficio del modelo ABP-IA por, no solamente mejorar el
rendimiento académico del alumnado levemente, sino también por aumentar la motivación de
los estudiantes. Los hallazgos de las pruebas validan que la retroalimentación adaptativa que
proporciona las IA integradas en el ABP es muy beneficiosa para el aumentar los índices de
motivación y predisposición hacia el aprendizaje en el alumnado. De esta manera, el ABP-IA
surge como un nuevo modelo de aprendizaje que combina los elementos más prácticos y
beneficiosos del ABP, junto al apoyo de las herramientas de IA, ofreciendo un aprendizaje más
personalizado, actualizado e innovador.
