Precisiones en torno a la biografía del soldado Lope Félix de Vega Carpio

Abstract

Se ofrece y estudia en el presente artículo una documentación inédita, conservada en el Archivo General de Simancas, que contiene la solicitud presentada por Lope Félix de Vega Carpio, hijo de Lope de Vega y de Micaela Luján, ante el Consejo de Guerra. En dicha solicitud el hijo del dramaturgo barroco, cuyas relaciones con su padre también se examinan, pide que se le suplan los años necesarios para ser designado alférez por un capitán. Gracias a esta documentación, podemos corregir un error repetido por los biógrafos de Lope de Vega que señalaban que Lope Félix se alistó en los tercios con el grado de alférez.
