Paradigmas burlescos en "Las aventuras de don Fruela", de Francisco Bernardo de Quirós, enciclopedia jocosa del Siglo de Oro
Abstract
The article reviews Obras de Francisco Bernardo de Quirós y Aventuras de Don Fruela (1656) by Francisco Bernardo de Quirós, from the perspective of its jocular dimensions. Don Fruela does not attempt to be a coherent and well-structured story, but a miscellany that constitutes itself as a true collection of samples of the jocular modalities of the Golden Age (burlesque prologue, the art of branding, interludes, burlesque comedies, parody of “autos sacramentales”): an encyclopedia of Golden Age mock that constitutes therefore an excellent guide for those interested in this universe of mock and parody.Downloads
