Abstract

A study realized by a disciple of Valbuena Prat in the University of Murcia, analyzes his academic personality as a professor, his teaching qualities, the activities organized under his professorship, as well as other aspects of his personality like the religious crisis. The paper concludes with the contribution of different unpublished testimonies by other disciples and friends of Valbuena Prat. These highlight his teaching ability, his erudition, his enthusiasm for Literature, his understanding character and his liberal willingness, as well as his humanistic education and vast wisdom.
