Abstract

This paper analyzes Los peces de la amargura, the latest work by Fernando Aramburu, a book of short stories published at the end of Summer 2006. It highlights its ethical value by dealing with the sufferings of the victims of terrorism, as well as its literary value by doing it with great aesthetic skill. The volume offers the reader the possibility of breaking through the truth of fiction, through the honesty of literary artifice, the wall of indifference and lack of understanding of the damage.
