Abstract

Among scholars of Spanish Literature and Literary Theory, the academic and research profile of Professor Romera Castillo is well known. Professor of Spanish Literature at UNED since 1991, his scientific career is supported by a large corpus of studies that praise his research excellence. Current literary tiles[1], a book published in 2023 by the Verbum publishing house, clarifies the vision for the vision of different literary milestones that shaped his scientific career.

Author Biography

Carmen María López-López, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED)

CARMEN MARÍA LÓPEZ-LÓPEZ es doctora en Literatura Española y Teoría de la Literatura (2018) por la Universidad de Murcia con Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado. Es autora del volumen monográfico El cine en el pensamiento y la creación de Javier Marías (2019), galardonado con el X Premio Internacional “Academia del Hispanismo” de Investigación Científica y Crítica sobre Literatura Española, así como del libro El discurso interior en las novelas de Javier Marías: los ojos de la mente (2021), publicado en la prestigiosa editorial Brill. Ha sido Profesora Visitante en las universidades de Edimburgo y Glasgow. Sus ámbitos de especialización se centran en la narrativa hispánica de los siglos XX y XXI, las relaciones entre literatura y otras artes, especialmente el cine, desde el marco de la Semiótica, la Crítica y Teoría Literarias. En la actualidad es Profesora Contratada Doctora de Teoría de la Literatura en la UNED.
