The didactic will of Baquero Goyanes: "Antología de Cuentos Contemporáneos" and "Qué es el cuento"
Abstract
This article analyses the contribution of Mariano Baquero Goyanes to the study of the short story genre through the analysis of two of his works. Baquero Goyanes’ approach to this genre stands out for its coherence and didactic will, as well as for his passion for the object of study. In his works, Baquero analyses with precision the essential features of the short story, which makes them a valuable contribution to the study of the genre that lands in a careful selection of literary works.
