Abstract
In 1760 more or less it was written a burlesque Testament of the King of Prussia, Frederick II, in Spanish «décimas». And some «seguidillas» insulting the king himself. It was political poetry, written in Spanish against the Prussian enemy, during the Seven Years’ War. This article analyzes the Spanish political poetry of that time, and his folk and elitist ingredients.
