Incidencia del formalismo de Dámaso Alonso en Dinámica de la poesía (1952- 1966) de Joan Ferraté
Abstract
This work looks at the analysis of the impact of the Damaso Alonso’s assay Poesía española. Ensayo de métodos y límites estilísticos (1950) in the theories, methodology and style of one of the leadin representatives of «La Escuela de Barcelona»: the poet, critic and translator Joan Ferraté (Reus, 1924 - Barcelona, 2003). This will analyzed in conjunction with Dinámica de la poesía (1952-1966), which includes most of the articles on literary theory and criticism of Catalan writer. Without removing originality to the work of Ferraté, broadly, we show the coincidence of some theses: the autonomy of the literary artifact, knowledge of the poem as «personal experience», «dynamic» conception of art (the poem as process), and the importance given to the reader and his intuition. Ultimately, the influence of Alonso’s extreme formalism will be noted in the Ferrate’s theoretical assay.
