Una hermenéutica fragmentaria: formas breves, símbolo e ironía en el Romanticismo alemán
Abstract
This paper deals with the close connection between three forms of brief discourse such as maxim, aphorism, and fragment during the 17th, the 18th and the 19th Centuries. It also deals with how these three forms are related to the spirit of the different centuries and authors, illustrating one of the most important moments in the history of Western thought: the transition from Enlightenment to Romanticism. We will pay special attention to the particular characteristics of the Romantic fragment and its connections to other Romantic concepts such as ‘irony’ or ‘symbol’ in Early German Romanticism (Jena Romanticism).Downloads
