Abstract

This article rescues, with the intention of completing the work of texts assembled on Ángel Valbuena Prat, Paisaje, mar, reinos interiores (2008), an essay published in 1930 on the poetry of the writer Domingo Rivero (1852-1929). This writing, gathered in 1937 without scarcely modifications in his Historia de la poesía canaria, was partially commented by Fernando González in the notes to the margin that he placed to her copy of the history of the Canary poetry composed by Valbuena. The considerations of the author of Hogueras en la montaña, widely checked and tinted, serve to think about the final result of the work that Valbuena Prat edited in 1937.
