El mito de Hero y Leandro y sus representaciones en la Floresta de varia poesía de Diego Ramírez Pagán
Abstract
The article examines the poems of the forgotten Cancionero by Diego Ramírez Pagán (Floresta de Varia Poesía, Valencia, 1562), based on the mythological theme of the tragic love stories of Hero and Leander. This study has a double aim: to introduce and analyse these verses written by the Murcian writer and, at the same time, underline how, even through a classical subject, Ramírez Pagán is an original poet. The Floresta expresses its hybridism in the structure of the poems but also in the intention to personalize some poetical themes very conventional in that age.Downloads
