Abstract

The aim of this paper is to show that Ricoeur's criticism aganist Davidson's theory of action, on one hand, is not wright, because the theory does not neccessary presupose a realistic commitment, as Ricoeur suggests; but on the other hand, Ricoeur's criticism succeeds in showing that Davidson's theory can't give an account of the intentionality involved in the human action.
