Abstract

This paper aims to clarify the purport of Nietzscheʼs morals critic for our times. Starting from his conception of morals as «language mimicking emotions», it investigates the relationship of morals genealogy to psychology and of morals genealogy to language. It also analyse the significance of the priest figure, which implies, beyond his cultural and ecclesiastic image, an interested use of the language of emotions.
