The author intends to throw light on the outstanding role played by education in Aristotle’s philosophy. The author focuses on the four following questions: What for should human beings be educated, why they need to be educated, how they have to be educated, and finally, to whom is it to educate? Through the answers to these questions the author shows the biological, anthropological, ethical and political grounds of Aristotle’s theory of education.
