Abstract

In Lectures on Kant´s Political Philosophy, Hannah Arendt develops a political interpretation of the theory of judgment exposed by Kant in his Critique of Judgment. According to Arendt, the spectator of the beauty that expresses the aesthetic judgments turns into spectator of the human action that expresses political judgments. The roll of the creator and the roll of the spectator are different and the roll of the political actor and the person who judges him is different too. It causes an irreparable break between ethics and politics in Kant´s philosophy. From my point of view, Arendt doesn’t understand properly the roll of the conflict for generating order and linking general rules with particular actions.
