Abstract

The essay deals with the prosecution of Carl Schmitt and Leo Strauss dialogue, after the first tentamina about the concept of the political. In the search of an horizon beyond liberalism and modernity, the work of Thomas Hobbes, and, particulary, the shape of Leviathan, are the themes of one each monographs, that mean the final discretion of the authors and his critical persistence in a liberal world.
