Abstract

In this article a perspective for the comprehension of Nietzsche´s criticism to the project of western culture is sketched in connection with some of the characteristic motives of the present debate on the crisis of modernity, particularly with the habermasian criticism of ideologies and the theme of the communicative action. The analysis is, above all, center regarding those arguments which try to explain the character of the crisis as well as on the proposals and attitudes towards its resolution.
