Abstract

This paper intends to continue the Foucault's genealogical task, applying it to the literary Criticism and Theory discourse. Starting from the Jakobson's model (message, transmitter, receiver, context, code, and channel), one notices several disciplinary ways thorugh which the will to knowledge acts on the literary discourse: such operation reduces the discursive eventuality when th order which founds and explains this discourse is discovered. This genealogy is in favour of new <> which, as an aesthetic perception, respects the work singularity and allows to return to discourse its character of event.
