CONTRA CHRISTIANOS: LA CRÍTICA FILOLÓGICA DE PORFIRIO AL CRISTIANISMO
Abstract
This article is the second part of our study about the early pagan attacks against Christianity. This time we will concentrate on Porphyry and his fragmentary lost work Kathà Christianón. Our study has two parts: first, we try to delineate the background and history of the text and its literary fortune. Second, we explain the most importants points of the Porphyrian criticism, first of all, to the New Testament. Finally, we constrast the Porphyrius’ invectives against Christianism with the modern Christian Theology.Downloads
