Abstract

Philosophical Scepticism has become one of the most powerful traditions in the history of philosophy. It is a fact that philosophical Scepticism exist, but it is also a problem for Scepticism to be acknowledged as a philosophical doctrine. Greek Scepticism, adhering to a medical analogy, offers itself up as a radical cure to purge human life of all cognoscitive commitment, of all belief. Pyrrho is the only Ancient Sceptic to whom doxographers attribute a unique life that could be termed a life without beliefs. His daily attitude is a far cry from the expectations of the conventional life led by all other Sceptics. This article states that the Pyrrhonian project believes that it is not important to accept any kind of philosophy, but rather to live without beliefs, which will reasonably lead to happiness.
