CANETTI Y LAS MITOLOGÍAS

Abstract

Canetti's fascination with myths, no matter their origin, what he called his «thirst of myths», is one of the pillars of his thinking. Myths are also closely related to his concept of metamorphosis, and his conviction that the writer is, above all, «the keeper of metamorphosis». This largely responds to the fact that Canetti saw myths as one of the supreme expressions of human creativity.
