Abstract

The present work proposes a comparative study of J. Serale's and J. Habermas' contributions to a general Speech Acts Theory, in the domain of Philosophical Pragmatics. In particular, it aims at examining Habermas' critical work as developed in his Theory of Communicative Action. This work takes a point of departure in Searle's first essais, yet it allows the author to formulate a theory of communicative interaction which radically brings to its fulfilment the intersubjetive viewpoint quited by Searle in his later work.
