Abstract

This essay is dedicated to the famous rumanian-french thinker Emil Cioran that is treated as aethete and as sceptic. In both cases Cioran assumes an attitude of disenchantment to life and unmasks the illusions of its absolute sense. But the same obsession to dethrone the convictions that come from the faith to the sense of life, the elegance of mock tone that impregnates Cioran's invectives against the hope and the Utopia gives to his scepticism a certain charm.
