Evidências de Validade da Sportsmanship Coaching Behaviors Scale (SCBS) para o contexto brasileiro

Resumo. O treinador esportivo é considerado uma das figuras mais influentes para os atletas, sendo importante contar com medidas que possam avaliar seu comportamento de fair play. Neste sentido, o presente estudo objetivou adaptar e verificar evidências de validade baseada na estrutura interna da Sportsmanship Coaching Behavior Scale (SCBS) para o contexto esportivo brasileiro. Inicialmente foram realizadas traduções, adaptações culturais e validade de conteúdo da SCBS, contando com a participação de 20 jovens atletas (Idade média 15,44±2,53) e de cinco doutores especialistas da área da psicologia do esporte. A validade de conteúdo demonstrou que os itens do instrumento estavam claros e pertinentes (CVCs entre 0.80 e 1.00) e que estariam avaliando as dimensões corretas (Kappa ≥ 0.70). Para a verificação de evidências de validade baseada na estrutura interna da SCBS, participaram 302 jovens atletas de ambos os sexos (idade média 16,1±3,61). Utilizando o programa estatístico FACTOR, uma análise fatorial exploratória identificou estrutura fatorial com quatro fatores, explicando 69% da variância total, composta por 20 itens distribuídos nos fatores: Prioriza a vitória acima do bom espírito esportivo – PV (α = 0.85, ω = 0.87); Ensina o bom espírito esportivo – EBEE (α = 0.83, ω = 0.85); É modelo de bom espírito esportivo – MBEE (α = 0.72, ω = 0.77); e Pune o pobre espírito esportivo – PPEE (α = 0.70, ω = 0.74). Estudos futuros são necessários para confirmar esta estrutura fatorial e ampliar as evidências de validade da SCBS para o contexto brasileiro, realizando análises com base em variáveis externas, por exemplo.
