Abstract

At present, organizations are implementing health management actions through physical activity, having an impact on physical, psychological and social benefits on employees and on economic benefits at companies. This fact makes organizations have healthy employees that are related to positive organizations variables, such as job satisfaction (Gómez, Morales, Hernández and Muñoz, 2018), so the objective of the work is to know the relationship between the practice of activity physical and healthy employees. The participants were the employees of a sports-social entity of the province of Seville using n = 56, of which 29 men and 27 women between 18 and 60 years old, 18 being between 18-30 years old, 30 between 30-45 years old and 8 between 45 and 60 years, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) and the healthy employee questionnaire were also used, and analyzing whether there were significant differences between the variables of the healthy employee and the amount of physical activity of the employees . The results conclude that employees who perform moderate and high physical activity have a significantly higher average in positive emotions, engagement and resilience compared to the group of low physical activity or no physical activity, while employees who perform moderate and high physical activity they present a higher average, but not significant in self-efficacy and competence with respect to the group of low physical activity or non-practice of physical activity.
