Abstract
The book discusses concerns about the engagement, which, according to the authors, occupational health and related human resource management from a positive approach. Derive from it two key concepts: the empowerment and employability. This review will leave from such conceptual basis for nuancing their impact on the field of occupational health from a preventive perspective. It will analyze how the engagement (including social contagion or collectivization) contribute to creating healthy organizations in the world of work, just at the opposite burnout syndrome, as evidenced by the classic demands-resources model. In this light, work organization, on the one hand, be decisive, and secondly, in terms of personal resources, the authors also remarked the decisive role of self-efficacy. A bet, in essence, for holistic health.Downloads
