Abstract

It is studied the process of the first handbook on Spanish palaeography and its protagonists. All the details of this venture are deeply analysed, starting from filed documentation, as well as from consultation of preserved handbooks. Several aspects are dealt with, such as project management, budget, paper, types of print, print run, as well as distribution and sale of copies in two different typographic moments.
