Abstract

The tourist sector in the Region of Murcia, without question, is influenced by a number of anglicisms used by the workers of this field, as in many other sectors. Our aim is to find out to what extent and why they are used, as well as their origin. The results have been divided into three main groups according to the frequency of use: from those used only in Spanish to those utilized in English at all times.      Finally, an explanation of the most remarkable cases in each of the groups above mentioned will be offered.
