Abstract

This article is an exploratory analysis of the use of GPS for the study of visitors’ behaviour in an open space. The Boi Valley is an open space that offers important tourism resources, so that the study of visitors’ paths permits to analyse the response to many different stimulus. The results show that the use of GPS in open spaces give information of the social use of the tourism space and allows to use new forms of analysis.
