Abstract

In the context of globalization, tourism is considered to be one of the main engines for economic growth in Morocco. This article will show that, during the last decades, both tourism policy and international investments has been important in the country. It is in this manner that many new tourist resorts have been created, particularly in coastal areas. In addition, urban and architectural heritage are attractive for tourists who are interested in the cultural background. Furthermore, to enhance the uniqueness of the destination, exotic images are presented to attract the attention of western tourists.
