Abstract

Th is paper shows to the scholars of historical lexicography the relevance of the Archivo Histórico de la Ofi cina Española de Patentes y Marcas for the history of the Spanish modern vocabulary. Th e usefulness of this archive is shown by several samples of the contemporary milk vocabulary, already documented by the 19th century.
