LA INCORPORACIÓN NUMERAL EN LAS LENGUAS SIGNADAS
Abstract
The term 'incorporation' is used when referring to a certain type of processes that take place in both signed and oral languajes. These processes appear much more frequently in the former than in the latter and have specific features, partly due to their visual/gestual condition. After defining in a general way the term 'incorporation', the aim of this article is to focus on the study of one of the most frequently used types of incorporation that take place in Sign Languajes (SL): numeral incorporation. We´ll define the process, consider how it works in several SL and try to put forward some features that could be common to them all.Downloads
