LOS MARCADORES DE RECAPITULACIÓN Y DE RECONSIDERACIÓN EN EL DISCURSO
Abstract
The reformulation process consists of referring back to a prior discourse segment to express it in a different way. There are two types of reformulation: paraphrastic and non-paraphrastic. The former shows a relation of semantic or pragmatic equivalence between the two discourse segments whereas the latter indicates a shift in the utterance perspective as well as a certain degree of dissociation between the two discourse segments. This article is aimed at analysing two types of discours markers, whose function is to establish relations of non-paraphrastic reformulation between discourse constituents: markers of recapitulation, which summarize in one final discourse segment the precedent mentioned, and markers of reconsideration, which refer to the prior discourse segment from a new perspective.Downloads
