Abstract
The following pages contain in a collection, in alphabetical order, of certain formulaic expressions found in the press. Newspaper readers know they will come across stock phrases and clichés made common by usage in the political, economy, sport, entertainment pages or in the weather section. The works published in this magazine are subject to the following terms:
